For all stays the lodge can be entered any time after 4.30 pm first day and must be vacated between 9.00 and 10.00 am on the last day, in order to allow our housekeeper to complete the changeover.

With comfortable sleeping accommodation for 28+ people, Glencanisp Lodge is the perfect venue for a great Scottish Highlands get-together, wiith the grand and stately atmosphere of the Victorian building all to yourselves, and the stunning tranquillity and beauty of the virtually empty 44,400 acre Assynt Foundation estate all around you.

Relax in the splendour of this beautiful twelve bedroom Victorian hunting lodge nestled in the breathtaking scenery of Assynt, with warm log fires, plenty of space, beautiful walks on the doorstep, peace and fresh air, deep baths with plenty of hot water…

If you are part of a walking, mountaineering, fishing, hunting or wildlife club or group, then this is an ideal location for a get-together for your group.

2009 REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Between September 2009 and May 2010, an exciting project was carried out to redevelop Glencanisp Lodge, thanks to grants from the Big Lottery Fund, Highlands & Islands Enterprise, the European Regional Development Fund, Community Energy Scotland, Scottish Power Green Energy Trust, Highland Council and others.
The redevelopment project will increase Glencanisp Lodge's position as a flagship venue for residential and non-residential events and activities, including for all-abilities users, with a downstairs en suite bedroom suitable for wheelchair users. The lodge is now heated by a state-of-the-art wood-fuelled central heating system, with solar panels for auxillary water heating, and is double glazed throughout, meaning environmentally friendly warmth and comfort, while retaining all the lodge's unique highland character and charm.

All efforts will be made to keep information given here up to date, but please contact the Assynt Foundation for price information and booking enquiries, or phone 01571 844100.
